Who Is H.I.P.S.?

The Heart of Illinois Paranormal Society was founded by Nichole back in April of 2008. Based out of the Peoria, Illinois area, H.I.P.S. is about respecting the unknown and performing different scientific experiments to unfold the truth that lies within it. Some of us are firm believers by faith and/or personal experiences, and some of us are skeptics. Either way, we are here to capture what all hunters are trying to capture; hard evidence that will change the minds of all skeptics and nonbelievers.

When we go to an investigation, we bring respect and professionalism from start to finish. We use everything from equipment to our inner intuition. H.I.P.S. will conduct a complete investigation, by taking photos, videos, using voice recorders, using our EMF, etc. Take turns sitting alone or with one other person in a separate room and feel the silence surrounding us. When finished, we will give our appreciation to the possible spirits in the home. We also do outside work as well; before and after an investigation. We research the history of the home/building/land as well as history of the family, etc. Once all evidence has been thoroughly examined we will reveal what we have to those who have requested our help. But we don’t stop there. We don’t want to leave anyone with the same problem they had before we arrived. We will give them options, advice, and suggestions on how to rid the spirit from their home, or show how to bless/cleanse home to have a more positive atmosphere. All any of us want is peace of mind and serenity in our homes and lives.
